My parents came through with some great pictures of their visit. Mom is always asking to help in the kitchen, but our kitchen is really a 1 person limit (unless you have a set choreography to the dinner prep, then you can have some help. Ideally, a husband). Therefore, the above and below were taken as Eric and I got dinner ready. And as anyone with small children knows, Mom was much more helpful by occupying the kids. Plus, I think she enjoyed it more as well!

As many of you know, my mom substitute teaches at St. John's Elementary School in Lawrence. Therefore, when she complimented my kids on how well they did with this particular project, I felt a little more pride. Seeing as she is a professional and has a lot of experience to compare their work with. Then, again, she is their Nana, so... |

Here is my dad reading about Jupiter...again. Thankfully, he read it before I did, so that when I mispronounced the name of the moon 'Io', my sons were able to correct me. It is pronounced: "Eye-O", apparently.
While Dad occupied the boys with the 100th reading, Eric and I enjoyed a leisurely breakfast with Molly. I love when grandparents come to visit!
The finished product with a traditional McCann lunch. Burger's Sausage, cheese and crackers. A family favorite, particularly with William. Grandpa Mac would be proud!
After a long day of sightseeing, L'Opa took us all out for ice cream. Will and I split a blizzard, Dom and Eric had cones, which Molly was introduced to. Not surprisingly, she loved it! We are all looking forward to seeing Nana and L'Opa again soon!!
