The Day after Yesterday

Jayhawk Nation still in mourning... wish I had remembered that UCLA played in the title game last year. I still can't bring myself to look at my online brackets. At any rate, losing to a top-5 team in the Elite 8 is better than the previous two years. On to happier things, I suppose.

AFIT graduation was Thursday. I didn't win any awards or anything, but lots of my friends did; I guess we associate with the right people.

The graduates: me, Jason Braun, Ryan Carr, Jeff, Wes Anderson - all glad to be done.


This was an especially good day, because the Jayhawks were beating SIU right about when this picture was taken. Then we went and lost to UCLA. To get that off our minds today, we went for a walk. Dom is too young to start working on his tan, so he has this cool hat he gets to wear:

And the tulips Grandma Liz planted last fall are coming up. Soon we will have a beautiful flower garden!!

Tomorrow is my first day at the new job. Toughest part will be getting up at the "Holy Minute" so I can make it in on time!!!
