Since Eric filled everyone in on what he's been up to, I figured I might as well also.
Here's a few musings on a couple of days of being a single parent albeit with grandparents coming off the bench in crucial moments.
Rest stops along highways are little miracles when it comes to changing a diaper somewhere other than a gas station's bathroom
If the award winning rest stop in Missouri could see the ones in Illinois, it would return it's award quickly.
Dominic really likes untying his shoes.
Dominic really doesn't like not having easy access to food/water/ditty (blanket)/ Mom.
Getting up at 6 AM in Eastern Time Zone, going to bed after midnight in Central Time Zone, and having a child who freaks out at 5:30 in the morning really shouldn't ever be mixed.
Dunkin' Donuts are the best.
Going to sleep at 9 is almost better :)!
We miss you Eric and are looking forward to seeing you on Saturday!

I woke up at 4:30 this morning and got up at 5 hoping to get a little quality time with Katie Fforde, unfortunately, Rose didn't care what time zone she was in and woke up too, aw doots...
Liesel... I must say I admire your courage. I can't fathom a road trip without my hubby along. I think our little 15 month old Mia would give me a coronary (or at least a major headache) by the time we reached our destination. Cheers for being a brave mommy!!
