Long time catching up

So, after the trip to Oklahoma (did I mention I went to this cafeteria while there?) we took the next weekend (Memorial Day) and took a vacanze to Columbus. We first went to the Columbus Zoo and saw the moose. We saw other things too, but Dominic only talks about the moose. Call sometime, he'll tell you about it. ("Boooose!!) Stayed that night at the Embassy Suites, which is totally our idea of a fancy night out. We went Swimming and watched cable television. Living the high life!!.

Next day, we journeyed to the North Market, where we enjoyed live music, good food, and coffee.

If only Eric was on an unlimited monthly allowance!! Next up was the German Village, where we parked our car and walked around for the rest of the day. Dominic was a champ, and went without a nap while playing at Schiller Park.

Dinner time (after more walking, a visit to St. Mary's, drinking coffee, and buying European wines) brought us to Schmidt's Sausage Haus, where Eric had a great time quenching his thirst. Prost!
Of course we read books to Dominic (or did he read them to us?) once we got home.

After doing some laps...

We decided to drive up to Young's Dairy Farm for ice cream (of course) and to see how Dom interacted with farm animals after our bad experience at Carriage Hill last year. He got along much better with the "moo's" and "baaa's." Thanks for the farm books, Mom!!

Ever seen anyone else ride a tractor like this?

For the curious among you, our baby is due 13 July.

Also, it's been 3 years since this happened... so, happy anniversary. What a great party!

dang! i STILL can't believe I had to miss your wedding...and ALL other Keel weddings thus far. Mitzi, I'm counting on you. I think the chances of me being in Europe (where I was for both Katie's and Liesel's) is highly unlikely at this juncture.

Congrats and a great update. thanks!
