Homecoming Game

The morning after Late Nite, we got up, ate donuts, and proceeded to get our game day gear on  to cheer on our football team!
As luck would have it, I got the opportunity to visit with my old college roommate, Maria.  We seldom have schedules that match up.  Her because of her work and me because I no longer live in Kansas...and as it turned out, our conversation really didn't make us miss much of a game.  We'll get 'em next year Hawks!
But, the kids had a great time.  I love that we have cousins that are all very close in age.  It is much like what I experienced when I was growing up.
Maybe another Christmas card photo?  (Presuming I actually get a card out this year...sorry about that!, Though on the bright side, you now know that you didn't receive one from us not due to a giant Christmas card purge (though in affect, it was, in fact, a giant Christmas card purge), but because I never got around to getting one out...silver lining?)
Eric, Mitzi, and Li'l Opa parked the cars allowing those of us with young children easy access to the stadium.  However, they took a scenic walk back which just happened to pass a couple of quite nice tailgate parties.  Mimosas anyone?
Mitzi and Dom.  The vast majority of these pictures are because Mitzi was handy with her camera.  We took, I believe 4 pictures and really only one was suitable for the blog, and that was only because I needed something...Thanks, Mitz!
A nice photo of the group.  The kids had a great time.  Molly took a tumble on the bleachers and had a black eye for the remainder of our trip.  You'd think she would learn from any of these episodes where she gets hurt...but, no.  Ah well.
I really like this picture.  Dom was in sports heaven.
Mitzi with a lot of the nieces and nephews.
And the next morning as we got ready for church.  You can see the black eye a little.  The kids loved to play with my parents' dog, Tux.  Particularly Molly.  Dad said that the day we left, Tux slept all day.

Owen says, "The Jayhawks! I used to have one of those shirts."
