Today is 16 October, and Dominic Joseph is 5 days old! We are very glad that you've come to see him and our family. We hope to have good things to share with everybody: pictures, stories, etc. It might not be very good - Dad is rather handicapped when it comes to things like this. And besides, I have a thesis to write.
Where do we begin?! Dominic Joseph was born 11 October 2006, at 8:14 AM by C-section. He weighed 7lb, 1 oz, was 20.9in long and had lots of hair. This is him on the warmer just a few minutes after birth.
We stayed in the hospital 3 1/2 days while Liesel recovered. This was a little stressful, but we are very thankful for the great staff of doctors, nurses, techs and midwives who made our stay special. They helped us bring Dominic into the world!! The hospital also had cable TV, but we mostly watched baseball, football, and Rachel Ray. We had to get up and walk around, and we also spent a lot of time getting to know each other.
