When Mitzi visited us last week, we learned for the first time about ESPN360, by which we can watch all the KU basketball games even though we don't have cable. Liesel and I thought this was a good idea, but as you can see, Dominic thought it best that he take over control of keyboard. After only a few games, he can do the "arms up!" thing that we do during free throws - or any other time during the game.
Yes, the Big XII tournament is a wonderful time of year, but even more wonderful is Easter. Here we teach Dominic the true meaning of Easter - making green eggs with shamrocks on them. Dipping eggs is almost as much fun as playing with straws in drinks at restaurants.
We skipped the Vigil Mass this year, but we did get to Holy Thursday and Good Friday. Sunday morning after brunch Liesel hid all the eggs (hard-boiled!) in the living room, and then we let Dominic go at it. He caught on really quickly! Only, he wouldn't see the egg right at his eye level and would instead lift up the rug, or the books to see if the eggs were there.
Making use of the way-cool timer feature here. Dominic was getting antsy by this point, and just wasn't having the "sitting still" business.
We are off to Kansas this weekend for the Beier-Davis wedding. See all of you Jayhawks there! And there better be TVs at the reception!!!

Have a good time in KS! Are you wearing the S. Treighton Arrow blazer there?
watching the game right now on big projection screen at hospital right now--up 48-30 in 2nd half. Seeing all the games on ncaa.com is great! Most people here are sad because Wisconsin just lost.
Dom is looking super cute!
Thanks for the postings!
