William, being the independent boy that he is, very much prefers to feed himself. Here he is eating a biscuit.
After eating, we try to go out and enjoy the great outdoors. Dominic always starts in the wagon...
.. but ends up pulling it later on.
Everyone knows Dominic likes books... but what's our favorite book?
"Ten Apples Up On Top," of course!!
William, as the younger child, is quickly learning how to fend for himself.
The KU-Brainwashing of our firstborn continues as we get him his own Jayhawk hat, which has the added benefit of giving Dad's KU hat back... which is nice.
OK, now the big news!! Let this be a lesson to all little kids!
"One little Dominic jumping on the bed / he fell off and bumped his head. Mom and Dad took him to the ER, and Major Gerson said - No more Dominic jumping on the bed!!"
Dominic is now the proud owner of 5 stitches and a future scar (just like his Daddy, he is prone to head injuries).
NOTE: While this didn't happen at our house, we are still friends with the people whose house it was. Thanks to Sarah for the first aid and Ernest for watching Will while we were at the hospital.

Update on that Facebook story from yesterday; looks like they backed off (so did Gov Sebelius).

First comment! I hope Dom is okay...those young head injuries stick with you - I know. :)
Grandpa has a scar as well from jumping and hitting some furniture when I was three.
Aww poor Dominic! Feel better sweetie!!
All, Grandma Norma and Deb do remember Dom's grandpa Rick jumping on his grandma Wanda's bed, falling and getting a scar.
It is sooo much fun to read about the boys adventures...keep it coming.
