One week later.. .

Since Dom had his run-in (or is it "fall-in"?) with a headboard last week, we have read "Eight Silly Monkeys" every day, at least twice a day, by request ("Monkey Book" as opposed to "Curious George" which was formerly "Monkey Book").  Prior to his accident, it had been sitting on a shelf unread for quite some time.  Oh, and now when he jumps on the bed (always well supervised) he likes to do his imitation of a monkey.  I'm so glad we have these learning experiences. . .

In other news, "Super Why" is just about the best TV programming ever.  If you have young children and allow them to watch television, I highly recommend you look at your PBS station's program line-up and check it out.   There is a little something for everyone in it.  Dom just loves the whole show, I like guessing what the mystery phrase/word is before any super letters are found, Eric likes singing the songs and using his power to Help, and Will likes watching Mom, Dad, and Dom sing and dance to the songs. It's a whole family experience.  I also discovered that you can download episodes to your  Super Duper Computer (don't worry, you can probably download them to your boring old computer also).  This discovery has given a whole new meaning to "Hip Hip Hooray!  The Super Readers' Saved the Day".  

(If you were confused by any of that last paragraph, you really need to start watching the show.  Or maybe we watch it too much. . . .nah)
